About us

Mace Caldwell was born in a small town in New jersey and raised in the mountains of Pennsylvania where he learned about the outdoors and wilderness survival. His father and grandfather taught him how to hunt, fish, play guitar and chess. His first guitar was a hand me down from a family friend and needed to repeatedly have parts be glued back together. Mace says this ws a great time in his life because you could do anything you wanted to, such as ride dirtbikes, snowmobile, shoot guns, have a bonfire and no one was around to care. As the area became more developed sadly the fun came to an end.

At 18, he joined the United States Marine Corps, 19, was already writing songs about hard living, heartbreak, and the kind of love that sticks with you like Texas heat in July. He spent years bouncing between construction jobs by day and playing dive bars and rodeo dances by night, honing a voice that’s equal parts gravel and honey.

He finally finished his recent release "Gone Again" after starting it three years ago inspired by his friends who were deployed multiple times.

Now based near family in Florida, he misses the simple, more relaxed less crowded life he left behind. Aong with the mountains and open spaces, where the neighbors cannot be seen or heard. le spends his time writing songs, fishing and

He’s known for his small live shows, where the whiskey flows and the crowd sings every word right back at him.

Most of the time you can find Mace fishing, restoring old cars and trucks or sitting on the porch with his dog, a cold beer, and a notebook, chasing the next song.
